Dearest Fr Peter,
Where do I start???? I didn’t realise the impact that our presence at the change of leadership handover last night would have on everyone. It really is a special moment when you can feel so loved and welcomed amongst a group of people who you haven’t seen for a few years but have come to know as your ‘extended’ family. I must thank you for letting me be a part of this wonderful Family Group all those years ago when things were a little tough and sometimes very lonely (even though I did have my mum around it was good to get out and have another purpose in life apart from the kids!!!) I couldn’t have asked for a better Family Group if I tried.
The kids had a wonderful time and really felt welcome by everyone, even though Liam thought we were going to a family wedding!!!!! Oh the wonders of being 4!!!!!
You really are an inspiration to me. If I can be half the person you are I would be happy. For someone to be so giving of themselves and never expect anything in return is truly remarkable. You have such a positive outlook and always make the best of any and every situation.
