Aim/Vision of the organisation: What is the special gift or charism of your organisation that serves the life and mission of the Church?

Our response to Jesus’ Commandment, “Love one Another”  by building the community (Kingdom) of God. Faces to Names, Names to Friends and Friends to Brothers and Sisters – “A Family for All”

In the formation of your members, what are some of your organisation’s achievements in the last year?

Babies and young children are being lovingly welcomed, as little Christians. Countless reconciliations are happening in and between families

Marriages and anniversaries are being joyfully celebrated. Solo parents and lonely people find extended families.

Sick family members are cared for unto death and duly honoured in their passing.

The Sacraments are actualised in everyday life.

The Ministry of loving service is carried out at grass roots.  Thus the Gospel message is lived out. The Family Groups are basic building blocks of the Christian Community.

This Ministry finds its fullest expression in the Eucharist, which is reverently celebrated within each of the Family Groups and in the larger Parish community.

What challenges does your organisation presently face in promoting the ideals of marriage and family life? How are you trying to address these?

Reaching out to the younger generation of Christians who do not attend Sunday liturgy.

We are attempting to encourage the schools to see that building a truly Christian environment including parents, as in FAMILY GROUPS, is a vital component of any fully rounded Christian education. Every person needs the support of a loving Christian community to grow in love of God, oneself and one another.
