South Australia celebrates 20 years of Family Groups |

from Chris and Tom Wilson SA Directors On the occasion of our 20th Birthday, we celebrated with Mass. Fr Pat Cooper cp was the Celebrant and Br Damian Byrne cp did the homily. He spoke exceedingly well and we thank him for being such a fantastic support to us. The entrance procession was led by all the original Family Group Leaders of Glen Osmond, with Kathy and Dennis Hennessy holding our big new banner. During the Mass, we had a PowerPoint presentation of past Family Group activities that Br Garry Clarke cp had collected. We then celebrated in the hall with eats, drinks and a huge Birthday cake and over 100 people attending including some of the leaders from other parishes in SA. For the past 6 weeks we have been introducing Family Groups into the Greenacres Walkerville Parish and have some 74 families registered.
