a popular alternative to church gatherings.
"SPIRITUALITY IN THE PUB"
Well now we have "Family Group Spirituality in the Pub" and here's a photo to prove it.
It was a very sunny, warm day on the deck of the Tathra Pub in early November, 2005, when members of the St Patrick's Bega Family Groups gathered with the visiting Founder of the Movement, Fr Peter McGrath cp.
The Groups in Bega were first formed in 1989 and they are still meeting regularly - supporting one another, extending warm welcomes to newcomers and all the while building and supporting their parish community.
On this day at the Pub, the people reflected on their past and shared very touching stories of friendship, compassion and genuine love for one another.
