GO WEST, DEAR BROTHER, GO WEST
- in Australia, that is!

This could be the theme song for the mighty West Coast Eagles who look like swooping away with the AFL premiership. Ask anyone in WA and they will tell you it's a foregone conclusion.

Looking at the smiles on the Western Australian faces in these photos seems to prove the point.

Passionist Family Group Movement begins in the Diocese of Geraldton.
31 July, 2006

Over 80 parishioners young and old gathered in the Cathedral Parish hall of Geraldton to begin with 6 Family Groups, heaps of enthusiasm and the full support of Fr Michael Morrissey and Fr Gerard Totanes.

Bishop Justin Bianchini was there to light up the occasion. The Light of Christ was passed by the Frs Michael and Gerard to the Leaders of each Family Group. Already there are great reports coming in of their first get-togethers. They are changing faces into names, names into friends and friends into family.

Perth PFGM day for Leaders and Co-ordinators

While Peter McGrath and Barbara Lunnon were in WA, a very successful gathering was held for the Co-ordinators of the Perth parishes - Attadale, Whitfords, Glendalough and Greenmount. Heaps of sharing occurred and batteries were recharged. These pioneers are setting a great example of truly Christian sharing and concern.

The west is renowned for its hospitality and welcome. Once again this was proven in our Western Australia Family Groups.
